I’m Micol Buti, a freelance illustrator based in Italy.
Driven by a passion for stop-motion, I specialize in creating 3D illustrations using paper as my primary medium. I enjoy bringing images to life through polygonal shapes and intricate lighting sets, guided by meticulous attention to detail and a necessary touch of patience.
I have collaborated with publishers and studios such as Attaccapanni Press and Tomodachi Press, and I had the pleasure of designing the official poster for the 2023 edition of the BAFF (Busto Arsizio Film Festival). In 2024, I published my first picture book, “La Terra delle Stelle”, with Errekappa Edizioni.
I’m currently represented by Magnifico Agency.
